Lease Comparison Ltd is a limited company, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is 1-3 St Albans Hill, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, HP3 9NG. We are a credit broker and not a lender, which means we can introduce you to a limited number of finance providers, and they may pay us a commission to do this. We are approved and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our ‘Financial Conduct Reference Number’ is 828564. You can verify this by contacting the FCA on 0800 111 6768 or by viewing their online register at www.fca.org.uk. We are also a leasing broker member of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association; our membership number is 1965.
We offer a range of vehicle leasing facilities using a panel of carefully selected lenders and funders. In some instances, we also receive a commission from these lenders. We will only quote you on Contract Hire, Personal Contract Hire and Finance Lease products.
We will provide you with general information about our finance products and answer any questions you might have, and we will send you quotations based on the rates offered by our selected funders. Throughout this process, we will ask for information regarding your personal circumstances and objectives, to help us identify your needs. It’s really important you provide us with accurate information to help us narrow down the information and offers we send you.
When we send you a quotation, we will also provide you with our ‘Key Features of Leasing’ document, which outlines the main features and limitations of Contract Hire and Personal Contract Hire, to help you make your own choice on whether to proceed.
We charge an administration fee of £299 for our service, which is not subject to VAT. This is payable when you place your order with us, after your application for finance has been approved. We do not charge you to apply for a credit line with our lenders. We will send you a separate ‘Information Notice’ with your order form to make sure you are aware of this. You may also have a 14 cooling off period after placing your order with us, but if you cancel after this cooling-off period has ended, you will have to pay a cancellation fee equal to 3 months rental, plus any costs passed on to us by the supplying dealership.
Throughout the process of obtaining finance for you, we will need to collect personal information from you. We work with a with a panel of funders, funding partners and franchise dealerships to create our offers, and we will need to share your information with them for the purposes of approving your credit application, ordering your new vehicle and arranging your delivery.
We also work with a selected funding partner regularly, they are National Fleet Services Limited, and their registered office is 5 The Croft, Buntsford Drive, Bromsgrove, B60 4JE. You can verify this by calling 0121 45 45 645. You can ask us at any stage which partners will receive your information and who your formal lease agreement will be with, should you chose to proceed.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office for the purposes of Data Protection and we will not sell your information on; our registered number is ZA126604.
